Central Arizona Project Water
The Flowing Wells Irrigation District maintains a Certificate of Assured Water Supply (AWS), which allocates annually 2,800 acre-feet of Central Arizona Project (CAP) water to offset groundwater pumping and maintain sustainable water management. The AWS program is mandated and administered by the Arizona Department of Water Resources.
Due to the continual cost increases of CAP water, effective April 1, 2025 the Flowing Wells Irrigation District has implemented a CAP water surcharge of $0.90 per 1,000 gallons used by its customers. This will help ensure the availability and delivery of high-quality water and service to the District’s current and future customers.
Thank you; your business is valued.
